About the Founder
For Bela Mehta, dance is more than a hobby; it is a calling that began when she was just eight years old. A native of Baroda, she founded Zanak Nrutya Kala Academy in 1990 to share that joy with the next generation. A versatile artist and sensitive choreographer, Bela teaches everything from classical Bharatnatyam to high-energy Western and Bollywood beats. With the unwavering support of her husband, Kamlesh, Bela has realized her dream of creating a premier institution where every student is trained to become a confident, stage-ready performer.
